I look at the world, products and objects around me very visually,
but also functionally. My friends sometimes laugh that "I suffer for
design" and it is indeed a bit like that, because I believe that a
well-designed world means a more beautiful and easier life. Too many
IT products are overly complex and too complicated for the average
person, making the most important functionalities almost
unnoticeable. I agree 100% with the statement that the form is a
result of function and that is what I follow in my projects.
You have to look at the product broadly (functionally,
technically, from the perspective of the form, needs and
expectations of the user). In my opinion, the recipients'
perspective is the key, I put it first.

DESIGN IN MY LIFE
The beginnings of my professional career were related to
graphics. I graduated from high school with elements of graphics
and computer printing. Graphics absorbed me so much that I
decided to study Corporate Identity, which allowed me to look at
the brand and the user widely.
Later, however, I
became involved in marketing research, but I always prepared
reports and presentations using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.

Newsletters formed interesting period of my career, which began
almost accidentally during my time at Lenstore. They combine
three of my work passions – programming, design and research.
The first one is obvious. Design is a challenge in newsletters –
short form, very functional. All parts of the page have an
important purpose and needs to be carefully though out. Even
white space. Finally, research. Finding the balance between form
and content. Newsletter resembles an expensive suite – cut to
size, showcasing the label and fitting into the style of the
brand. I love such challenges.

Animals Gang is a wordpress theme fully built from scratch by
me. The theme utilizes a novel mechanic of navigation using
multiple levels of maps and pins. Selecting a pin on one level
brings up another map with more pins to choose from.
This
theme can easily be used by shops, restaurants or hotels in any
location.

NEWSLETTER - LENSTORE
HTML NEWSLETTERS | HTML EMAIL TEMPLATE
Newsletters are the shortest path to communicate with your
clients. The easiest way to inform them about changes, upcoming
events or new products. That's why I've always taken them
seriously and spent decent time to prepare them beautifully.
Part of my role at Lenstore was to prepare their
newsletters, and that’s how my love for them began. Newsletters
are extremely difficult to build due to the variety of different
email clients and complexity of modern designs. Seeing the
engagement increase since I took on this role made me feel very
satisfied and accomplished.

Having almost a year experience in Lenstore I've learned a lot.
Working with an amazing team I could observe the inner workings
of a business at almost on every stage. I was working on the
desktop and mobile version of our shop. This job gave me
incredible power and satisfaction. My efforts, enthusiasm and
commitment brightened the hearts of all around me. They even
gave me a trophy for it! This little trophy reminds me of this
time and gives energy every day.

This was my first serious project in React JS. I was asked to
build a management interface inside an already existing
platform. I was given creative freedom within a predefined
design guideline, so my UX experience came in very handy. It was
a big challenge at first but seeing the insides and processes
involved on an enterprise grade product was a huge learning
experience for me.
